~ Garuda ji asks Lord Shri Vishnu ji, O! Best of all, who gives salvation, crores of living beings are born and die day by day in this world. this has no end. In this world everyone seems unhappy, no one is happy. By what measures these creatures can get liberation, please tell me.
~ Lord Vishnu said, O bird king, having attained a human body, one who does not think of the liberation of the soul, the sin of a man is greater than that of killing a brahmin. Without the human body, no living being can know the importance of this body. That is why it is necessary to keep this body safe and do true deeds.
Wealth, house, good and bad deeds can be found again, but not the human body. The protection of this body is necessary for one’s duty, duty for knowledge and knowledge for yoga-abhiasa. It is a means of salvation. When a fire breaks out in the house of a fool, he starts digging a well.
~ This world is a box of sorrows. As long as a person remains entangled in the entanglement of illusion and Maya, he will always remain unhappy. All beings are involved in eating, drinking, sleeping, gratification of desires, only man has conscience. One who does not act wisely is an animal.
Therefore, as long as there is attachment between human beings, there is no liberation. If you have to have attachment, then have attachment to God, who is the destroyer of all your troubles. In order to have attachment to the Lord, purity of mind and eyes are necessary. Lust, anger, greed, ego, these deserve the downfall of man. Reading of the Vedas and Shastras does not lead to liberation, until their knowledge is not capable of erasing their ignorance.
~ “mine” and “not mine”, these are two words. There is bondage in “mine” and liberation in “not mine”. Therefore, those who are desirous of liberation, break all bondage and unite with the truth. Truth is love, love is God.
The actions which do not lead the soul to bondage, they are true deeds.
~ For the attainment of “Nirvana” or “Brahm”, when a person reaches the last stage of his life, then by separating from his worldly will power, he should think firmly in the mind “I am Brahman” or “Om” mantra. Do. This purifies his mind and brings spiritual radiance.
The one who leaves his home and dies at any one of the seven holy places, namely, Ayodhya, Avantika, Mathura, Kashi, Gaya, Kanchi, Dwarka, with the intention of exhaling, attains salvation.
~ Those who know the truth and untruth, those who do truthful deeds, religious attitudes, upholding the duty, and those who have faith in me, are always dear to me.
~ O bird king, I have told you all the principles well. If you want to know anything else, say so.
~ Hearing this word from the mouth of the Lord, and pleased with the answers to his questions, Garuda bowed to Jagadishwar and said, “Lord, you have cleared my great doubts with your sweet words. The filthiness of my mind is removed.” .
~ Having said this, he bid farewell to Lord Vishnu and went to the ashram of Keshav Muni.
~ Shri Hari, the mere mention of whose name, one gets freedom from all sorrows and curses, may such a merciful Lord always have his graceful eyes on his devotees and devotees.
